Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd works in close collaboration with all stakeholders to meet international requirements of Aviation Security. As the airport operator, AML has invested massively in security. AML holds the latest technology in detection and scanning equipment.

Apart from AML, other agencies concerned with security at the airport are namely: the Department of Civil Aviation, specialised units of the Mauritius Police Force and other law enforcing agencies, as well as private security companies.

Passengers are reminded to be present at least 3 hours before their flight is scheduled to leave.
