Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, the only gateway for air access, plays a strategic role in the economic development of our country. Conscious of the challenges awaiting us, Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd has embarked on several development projects, which aim at increasing our operating capacity and enhancing our services.

Some of the recently completed projects include the creation of a Premium Class Lounge at arrivals, the rearrangement and addition of Immigration facilities both at arrivals and departures, a wastewater treatment plant with capacity to process four times more effluent and a new road network and better parking facilities to further ease incoming and outgoing traffic.

Along with plans to proceed with the second phase extension of the Passenger Terminal, SSR International Airport is set to become a regional hub, offering even more opportunities to stakeholders.
